Description

The BEKO Technologies DRYPOINT RA VSD 2000 Refrigerated Air Dryer applies an all aluminum heat exchanger to minimize pressure drop and self-clean using gravitational force. The variable speed technology adjusts power usage based on the needs of the dryer, reducing energy costs. When both the compressor and fan operate at variable speeds based on load, the dew point is stabilized without risk of freeze-up.

Warm, humid compressed air is precooled in the air/air heat exchanger when entering the refrigeration dryer. The unit's controller monitors the incoming conditions and adjusts the compressor and condenser fan speed to the required cooling capacity of the refrigerant system. This saves energy, and reduces operating costs over the life of the dryer. The high efficiency condensate separator in the heat exchanger module sustains a high droplet separation of 99%. Condensate is discharged via the standard, level-controlled BEKOMAT condensate drain. Before leaving the dryer, the dried and cold compressed air is reheated in the air-to-air heat exchanger. The relative air humidity is reduced and the cooling capacity is recovered by up to 60%.
