KORE Compressors - Air Compressors

Compressor World now offers a new line of air compressors from Kore Compressors. Their line offers a full range of rotary screw air compressors, with load/no load controls as well as variable speed drive controllers. KORE Compressors offer the following standard features:

  • Wye Delta/Reduced voltage starting. This will reduce the start up amp by 1/3 (vs. across the line starting)
  • Phase Protection
  • Sound Enclosures
  • PLC Controllers
  • TEFC Drive Motors

Many of the features stated above are optional from other compressor suppliers. These features are great for the smaller air compressor applications, 15 to 100 Horsepower. KORE Compressors are stocked in Massachusetts for quick shipments.

The standard voltage for KORE Compressors would be 230/3/60 Volts for 15 - 50 Horsepower and 460/3/60 Volts for 75 & 100 Horsepower compressors. We recommend installing a transformer or buck and boost transformer for 208/3/60 volt power. The biggest advantage KORE Compressor has would be their "off the shelf" preventative maintenance parts. Any and all parts can be sourced locally, allowing the customer a choice to buy from the factory or a local industrial or service provider. The components used are all top brands; TECO Westinghouse motors, Siemens electrical components and all Mann, Solberg and other filter suppliers can be sourced for air filters, oil filters and oil/separator elements. Note: the compressor factory recommends using OEM parts during the warranty period. Compressor Range KORE Compressors offer a large range of rotary screw air compressors: 15 - 500 horsepower. The MA warehouse will be stocking 15 to 100 horsepower, mainly because the majority of rotary screw compressors sold in the United States are 50 horsepower and below.
