Description

The DVP SC Series Oil-Free Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump has been developed for use for those industrial applications that require an oil-free operation in a restricted but sufficiently ventilated space. The SC series pumps are made up of a cylindrical body and a rotor that rotates eccentrically inside it. The rotor has grooves where the vanes are placed. As the rotor turns, the centrifugal force pushes the vanes into contact with the body. This creates small spaces that increase in volume, allowing air from the container to be drawn in and expelled through the outlet duct. The SC Series is capable of running continuously at both atmospheric pressure and the highest vacuum.

Note: The SC Series cannot be used when the aspirated air contains moisture, oil, or other traces of liquid.
