The Quincy Compressor COOL 35, 35 SCFM, Non-Cycling Refrigerated Air Dryer utilizes a high thermal exchange and low load loss heat exchanger in order to maintain consistent dew points. The temperature of the compressed air is reduced to approximately 50°F in order to condense moisture. Moisture is then removed from the system by an integrated moisture separator and timer drain. The dry condensed air is then reheated by warm incoming air until it is ready for delivery to downstream equipment.

The COOL Series dryer features a refrigerant compressor driven by an electric motor, air cooled condenser, heat exchanger, integrated water separator, refrigerant filter, and capillary tube. The hot gas by-pass valve injects hot gas from compressor discharge into the suction and liquid separator, which keeps refrigeration capacity in all load conditions and maintains constant pressure in the evaporator.
