Questions: I am putting an aftercooler on my air compressor between my compressor and tank. Could a 3/4" NPT Nano Purification water separator be placed between the aftercooler and the tank to remove water before the air enters the tank? 1 Answers

Yes, all after-coolers should have some type of water separator installed. Many people have water separators installed after the after-cooler and before the tank, this reduces the amount of water from entering the tank.
