Description

The Hankison HBP Series Blower Purge Desiccant Air Dryer uses a dedicated axial blower for regeneration, guaranteeing Class 2 (-40°F/-40°C) dew point performance. HBP Series dryers produce the design dew point at 100°F inlet temperature and 100% relative humidity at 100 PSIG.

Blower purge-type regenerative dryers dry compressed air below the water's freezing point. Desiccant dryers lower the dew point by adsorbing water vapor onto the desiccant surface. Two identical towers alternate between on-stream drying and off-stream regeneration to continuously supply dry air downstream. Switching between towers is controlled by the solid-state controller on a fixed-time or demand basis.
