Description
The Hertz HVD Series rotary screw air compressor is designed to save energy by adjusting the compressor operation speed according to compressed air requirements. Available from 7.5 to 50 HP, the HVD Series features soft starting, a microprocessor controller, Wye-Delta starter, and patented and durable screw block to provide high capacity air. The main motor and drive system is directly coupled one on one with the elastic coupling, has motor bearings with high temperature protection, and variable speed starting with frequency converter. HVD 5 to HVD 15 utilize an easy to detach spin-on type separator, while the HVD 18 to HVD 37 come standard with a three stage, high-efficiency immersion type separator.
