The Applied System Technologies TruPress 316 Stainless Steel Air Piping is joined together by connectors that are mechanically pressed (crimped) onto the pipe to make a permanent connection. The AISI 316L (EN 1.4404) is an austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content, offering excellent corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and other industrial chemicals.
